Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes detectives arrested Quinnton Eric Brown, 36, DeAngelo McRoy, 26, and Alicia Carson-Brown, 24, all of Gaithersburg, charging them with first-degree murder.

The arrests were made about six weeks after Delondre Levert Sawyer, 35, of Germantown, was found unresponsive in a wooded area near the 11200 block of Game Preserve Road in Gaithersburg and later pronounced dead.

An autopsy conducted on Sawyer’s body located a gunshot wound and ruled his manner of death a homicide.

On Tuesday, March 5, investigators received an arrest warrant charging Carson-Brown with accessory after the fact, first-degree murder and motor vehicle/unlawful taking, MCPD said.

The following day, she was arrested when additional charges were obtained in a warrant to include armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Arrest warrants were also issued for Brown and McRoy on Wednesday, March 6 charging both with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Brown was arrested in Gaithersburg on March 7, while McRoy was already in custody for an unrelated offense and was served with the arrest warrant on Tuesday, March 19.

All three suspects are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, police said.
